Investments and Partnerships

April 2020
GMP partnership with East Riding Fertility Services (ERFS)

GMP is pleased to announce that it has recently completed a deal to partnership with ERFS.

ERFS was established in 1986 and is one of the country’s leading fertility clinics. ERFS provides over 400 treatment cycles for patients every year, and their expertise continues to attract a growing number of patients seeking both NHS-funded and private treatment. It has achieved success by remaining at the forefront of technology and innovation, as well possessing considerable medical and scientific expertise, and an experienced and highly capable management team. Looking ahead at securing its future continued development and expansion, it became clear to the ERFS team that the constraints they faced utilising their current facility could only be overcome by a move to a new, purpose-built clinic. Embarking on a campaign to raise the required funding for the multi million-pound project they approached GMP.

Dr Karolina Skorupskaite-Carlyle “ERFS has a fantastic reputation and once we had discussed and established what would be required to allow the unit to achieve its growth plan and take the unit to the next level, GMP had no hesitation in deciding to partner with the Hull team”.

As well as increasing the number of private patients treated, ERFS’s intends to continue to develop the existing, well-established relationships that it has with the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).

Philip Robinson (ERFS Director of Operations) “Relocating to a new facility will be a significant step towards providing our patients with the very best care possible. We are also looking forward to working with the GMP team who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sector”.

With the land now purchased and planning permission granted, building work will be commencing in the near future. It is planned to have the new facility operational in 12-14 months.
